Bios and info

Nina Beckert. I am German and I am living in Waldport since one year. I worked as a nurse for 20 years and started a German food stand here in Waldport. Besides nursing and cooking, I am deeply in love with nature.

Larry and Linda Addison, native Oregonians, retired to Waldport in 2012. They design beach and indoor labyrinths and teach groups how to draw and use the meditative patterns. Their evolutionary path has brought their passion for natural healing and happiness to fellowships, churches, holistic health fairs, hospital education centers and the Oregon Coast Pan Pagan Gathering.  “We enjoy drumming, mushrooming, beachcombing and getting/giving hugs!” They are active in Dances of Universal Peace, the Philosophical Forum and just completed a 96-lecture course on the Cosmos.

Hello! My name is Toni Stewart. I’ve lived on the beautiful Oregon Coast for over 30 years. I consider myself a natural witch. I have instinctively known many of the Wiccan teachings since I was old enough to remember. Many of my earliest memories are of me asking my elders questions about things that I later learned were Wiccan related. I didn’t understand this aspect of who I am naturally until my teenage daughter introduced me to Wicca. It took me another decade to put the pieces together. At that point I met Keith, the love of my life. My husband Keith is a solitary Witch who supports me on my Wiccan path. I now belong to the Rose of the Sea Circle.

Leslie Ney O’neill – It has been my delight to study Reiki, sound healing, Chi Gong, Magnified Healing, Nia (a movement form combining martial arts, yoga, dance and healing movement), shamanism, Wicca, Emotion Code, Body Code, and much more. I have been wife, mother, friend and teacher. I’ve traveled across this precious Earth, to swim with dolphins in crystalline Hawai’ian seas, and to commune with elephants, the land and the people of Africa. Everything is connected; every part of the whole informs every other part. Most important of all, I practice each day being truly present with myself and others, and bring as much love as possible to each!

Mary Cedarwolf has been a solitary practitioner for many years. In the early 2000’s she began studies in Traditional Gardnerian Witchcraft. In 2007, she became a 3rd degree Gardnerian Tradition witch. In 2011, her High Priest and partner drowned during a storm. Much devastated and deep in grieving, Mary closed her coven and focused inward for a few years. Mary is now opening to her craft and again practicing as a solitary witch. She lives in Veneta OR with her high school boyfriend, now her husband. Mary enjoys gardening, herbal preparation of home remedies, guided meditation/visualization and Grandchildren.

Hi, my name is Kristie Bowman. I’ve lived in Waldport for a little over 2 years. I’ve always loved the ocean and am truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place. My interest in Wicca began a long time ago but working full time and raising my 2 daughters didn’t leave me much spare time. Now that I’ve retired, I finally have the time to learn…thank you Anja!!

Nicholas Batchelder – I have lived in Waldport since 2003 originally from Stockton California. I practice the religion of Buddhism. I am a member of Soka Gakkai Nichiren Buddhism. I learned about the magic of Buddhism when I was 16 years old. Now 21 years later I have had many experience where I have had the privilege seeing what it can do. I would like to offer a basic introduction to the practice and answer any questions you might have. “ Nam-myoho-renge-kyo- The essence of Buddhism is the conviction that we each have within us the ability to overcome any problem or difficulty that we may encounter in life. Hope to see you all soon.

Anja is Elder of the Rose of the Sea Teaching Circle. Born to a long line of teachers and educators, she is a Sea Witch by calling, Slavic Shaman Fam Trad, Anderson Feri initiate and 3rd degree Wicca. She and Tempus are the owners of Ancient Light. Her blog the Daily Stuff comes out each day with shop info plus the kitchen sink.

My name is Tempus. I am an eclectic Wiccan and a pursuer of old truths in new bottles. My main interest is in trying to find a philosophic framework that enables me to integrate the old metaphysical truths with the new understandings of the Universe afforded us by modern science. I’m the other half of Ancient Light and have a degree in physics which I’m using mostly on lawnmowers and wine at the moment….. Briggs and Stratton did put out a line of engines named Quantum at one point, so I have to say that I’m a Quantum Mechanic…
